Chittagong University Admission 2023

To apply for admission in any unit/sub-unit, go to the Chittagong University admission website and click on the 'Register' button to provide the applicant's higher secondary/equivalent examination board name, roll number and pass mark and secondary or equivalent examination board name, roll number and pass mark. You will see the form. Fill the information correctly and click on 'Submit' button.

After clicking on the 'Submit' button, if the applicant's information is correct and eligible to apply in any unit/sub-unit, the personal mobile number of the applicant must be provided correctly on the next page. Then click on the "Send Confirmation Code" button and you will get a Confirmation Code on the mobile of the applicant. Note that- the mobile number used at the time of application must be the student's mobile number. All notifications/messages related to the admission test will be sent from the university to the said mobile number.

After providing the Confirmation Code and clicking on the 'Verify Code' button, if the Confirmation Code is correct, a "Profile" of the applicant will be created and "User ID" and "Password" will be sent to the mobile of the applicant. Save your “User ID” and “Password” for all future admission related enquiries/actions.

Applicants are required to go to the specified section of their profile and upload a recent clear formal photograph (face uncovered) of correct size (Size: 150KB; Resolution: 300x300 pixels). Then click on "Question Language" and select the language of the exam question paper. Applicants for whom the quota is applicable will select the respective quota. Then click on "Save Profile" and the applicant's profile will be completed. It should be noted that the applicant will not be able to apply to any unit/sub-unit if the profile is not completed.

The applicant clicks on the “Application” tab on his/her profile and selects the unit/sub-unit in which the applicant wishes to apply from a list of units/sub-units he/she is eligible to apply for.

Eligibility for CU Admission Test 2023

In order to qualify in CU Honours Admission Test 2023 the applicant must pass SSC / Equivalent Pass in 2019 or 2020 and HSC / Equivalent Pass in 2021 or 2022 and achieve the following qualifications.

Unit A - Total GPA 7.50 in the fourth subject in SSC and HSC examinations. Must be 3.5 in each test.

Unit B: Must have 2.75 in both HSC and SSC and a total of at least 6.5 GPA

B1 Sub Unit: Both HSC and SSC should have 3.25 and total GPA of at least 7.00

C Unit - Both HSC and SSC must have a GPA of 3.5 and a total of at least 7.50

D Unit - Both HSC and SSC must have a GPA of 3.25 and a total of at least 7.00.

D1 Sub Unit: Both HSC and SSC 2.5 and total at least 6.00 GPA.
